Oh Boy... this is Gunna be a doozie of a week

I had oesto on my shoulder again today and lets just say it is telling me all about the things I do that it doesn't agree with, typing being one of those activities.... so I think Back to Basics will be in condensed format and written up tomorrow.

In the mean time this is a picture of the weather station in our house... Mudbrick is good but this spell of extended hot days with high overnight mins is going to test my soft Melbourne mettle .. Me thinks

i hope the sore goes away soon!

10 degree difference between in and outside is pretty good, i love your mudbrick palace.

My professional assures me we are making progress... even if it doesn't really seem to be that way most of the time.

Yeah I am so lucky. Admittedly 10 degrees on a 41 deg day is still going to be rather warm inside so we will see how we go.

Kind Regards
Belinda

I find over 30 is uncomfortable to blog for example, hard to think. But fans make such a big difference. Failing that sit in a cool bath!

Was that the temperature inside yesterday afternoon. I am pretty sure it was the same here, and not cool outside until around 8pm.

Hi Linda,

Yes, that was the temperature, left is outside and the right is inside, at 4 in the afternoon yesterday.

I have to say I don't really think we made it to cool outside last night..at best outside dropped to about 24C and it was back up to 26 by 7am this morning.

Kind Regards
Belinda

We were up early and running around (working off all the toddler energy, along with several other families at the park) and home and hot by 10am. We've drawn all the curtains. I'm very grateful that it gets quite cool here overnight. After a long hot day it's quite strange to be fighting over the doona, but a pleasant change from the city where it stays hot all night.

:-) Hi InnerCityGarden,
Nice to see you around again.

Great to hear you are getting nice comfy sleeping temperatures. Personally I can do hot days, but hot nights mean I don't get enough sleep and subsequently find myself miserable. I grew up in the path of the Freemantle Doctor and a very integral part of my being resents it when the world refuses to cool down overnight.

Kind Regards
Belinda
