Celebrating the Sun

Winter Solstice has been and gone, from here on in the days lengthen. The last few months of introspection will push me out into the world again to "just do". I can feel a slight quickening, a slight increase in urgency to get outside and achieve a bit more.

I am full of appreciation for Winters wonderful show. It's been crisp but sunny, with not a breath of wind or wisp of cloud to dampen my spirits. As we all know that is going to end, the cloud will roll in again. The fog will settle and remind me that energy is still best used to keep warm, but while it lasts this sun lovin' gal is going to be grateful for natures generous gift.

Hi Belinda,

You're more than wlecome to some of our wind. It has the capacity to drive us nuts, it never seems to end. And clouds without any real rain, yeesh, just as frustrating. Mind you, I prefer it over a hot humid summer anyday.

:-)

Yeah, know all about the wind. Autumn and Spring it's thumps into the side of the house on a regular basis. It's one of those bonuses of living on the NW side of a pretty big hill.

Wednesday last week my potting bench was knocked straight off it's legs onto the pavement. Thankfully it all came down in one piece with minimal losses so thanks for the offer but I think I will just appreciate my still.

Kind Regards
Belinda

Hello Belinda
I hear you - oh I hear you.
Forget all my grumbles about cold temps I am grateful for whatever we are given - so long as I can get outside and enjoy a little bit of sunshine lol
Thanks for your comments especially about the girls and their music. I told them how long you played for and they just grinned and said 'yeah someone else who likes to be different'
Take care
Cathy

Once the Winter Solstice is past I feel as if my spirits are lifting, knowing that the warmer weather and brighter days are coming along.

Hi Cathy,

Let's just say that I was never likely to take up the flute or the clarinet :-D . Luckily not minding being different gives you a whole lot of really interesting life choices.

Hi Pip,

Letting go of the old and focusing on the new. Nothing quite like a new spring to plan for, only 3 months to go, to remind me to get my hands back in the earth.

Kind Regards
Belinda
