Walking Away.. For a Bit

I have been trying to ignore it because generally I love my writing so much but all signs currently point to me being burnt out.  I look at my days and they are totally unfocused, I struggle to come up with my blog posts and this means they take up a lot more time than they should.

Between trying to get the business off the ground and some changes we have had, with further changes possible in the future, am carving time to write out of time I really need to use to focus on the practical acts that support our life.  I need to find a new rhythm to my days that is more balanced, where I am not spending half the day sitting on my butt.

I will be gone at least 4 weeks but in all honestly it might be much longer depending on how things work out.  My plan is to continue to post once a week for the Back to Basics Challenge along with notices for any cool looking local community events.  I am giving myself permission to post if I feel I truly driven to express something but coming up with content is going to be extremely low on my priority list.

Best wishes
Belinda

Thanks Guys,

Everything's fine, just a lot of doings that need to be done and a lot of energy changing direction so I need to make sure that I have everything in order so as not to get swept away.

Kind Regards
Belinda

I totally understand and appreciate where you are coming from, and hope you can regain a sense of direction without the nagging 'should be blogging', 'must blog about this', 'haven't blogged in a while' thoughts to keep you from what you need to be focusing on now!

See you when you get back and hope the business is huge success this Spring and beyond!

A blogging break(or any type of break!) can be wonderful and create the necessary inspiration to return when you feel ready :) Enjoy!

I hope you have a wonderful and productive break (I was going to say relaxing but I think there won't be much sitting around by the sounds of it, lol). All the best until your return :-)

The break I took from blogging this summer was wonderful. I write every day no matter what but taking the pressure off of having to write for the blogs gave me a freedom to write other things and find my way back to myself. I hope taking a break, no matter how long, does the same for you!
