They are adoreable. I wish my husband would let me put our ducks in the swimming pool, they would be in ducky heaven.
How's the redesigning of their house going?
Thankfully my DH love watching them on the pool and wanted them there as much as me. Yeah, my ducks are in ducky heaven. The new girl had never seen more water in one area than a kiddy clam pool.. got out of her box and launched herself into the water in one flapping leap :-D
The redesign is going slowly but well. For now they are in a large 4 sided wire dog crate and it will protect them when the fox comes back looking for it's next meal. In the mean time I am sending out feelers to find some hardwood packing crates to give them a more wind protected solution.

Not meaning to be picky, but what you're calling a Wood Duck is actually a Pacific Black Duck (names matter, esp if you're a duck :-)
